About Isotope Signatures

Mylnefield Isotope Signatures is a state-of-the-art stable isotope laboratory, led by Professor Wolfram Meier-Augenstein, an internationally respected expert in the field. We provide a high quality, highly reliable service to a diverse national and international clientele in the academic community, the forensic sciences and the food and drink sector.

Stable Isotope Forensics

Professor Meier-Augenstein is a pioneer in forensic isotope analysis and a certified Lead Practitioner for the Forensic Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (FIRMS) Network. We have an excellent track record of applying stable isotope techniques to solve serious crimes, with the physical security, quality standards and auditing procedures in place to ensure that our analyses meet the required standard of evidentiary reliability.

Ecology and Environmental Science

At Mylnefield Isotope Signatures we know that cutting edge science can often depend on tiny amounts of hard won material. Our state of the art instrumentation and focus on quality means that we can deliver reliable results from less than 0.3mg of material. More importantly, if we think that stable isotope analysis isn't what you need to solve your problem, we'll let you know and we'll let you know why.
